Update

First off, I'm super jazzed to announce that I had the pleasure of contributing to the fifth annual Comics Issue of Cleveland Scene, along with four other amazing Cleveland-based comic book artists. You can read mine and the rest of them here!

Secondly, it's been a minute since I've posted anything here, so some quick updates:

It was an eventful autumn for Vagabond Comics. In October we were fortunate enough to table at Comique Con, a fantastic show in Dearborn celebrating female comic creators. In November at Genghis Con we released our fourth issue, titled Roots. This issue marks the one year anniversary of the anthology and features nine autobiographical comics (you can buy your own copy at the Vagabond storenvy page). We were also featured in a couple articles on Cleveland.com and even got to sit in and talk shopping locally on the NPR show, The Sound of Ideas.

Lastly, this new year is already shaping up to be a good one, so stay tuned for more! For now, I'll leave you with my contribution to the most recent issue of Vagabond, a true story about childhood disappointment.

Vagabond Comics

I would like to announce that at Genghis Con this year, Sequoia and I will be debuting the very first issue of Vagabond Comics! As previously alluded to, it's an anthology that us and a few friends put together featuring 50 pages of content and six unique stories. We are looking into setting up a place to buy it online in the near future, but in the meantime we'll be putting more information here. It was a ton of fun to make and it involves some seriously talented people, so I do hope you'll check it out!

New Stuff

Hey! Here's a new little comic I finished about a month ago. It's going to be part of a small anthology that some friends and myself recently threw together, which I am pretty pumped about because there's some neat stuff in there. I'll have more information on that soon, but until then here is Shell for your viewing pleasure.

SPACE

WOW it's incredible just how terrible I am at keeping this updated. Anyways, I just wanted to give you a last minute heads up that I am going to SPACE... the Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo that is. So if you happen to find yourself around Columbus this weekend, maybe stop by the Northland Performing Arts Center and say hi! It's going to be a pretty big show with a ton of talented people, definitely worth all of the five dollars that it costs to get in.

On a completely unrelated note, I made an Instagram not too long ago. It's mostly just sketches, doodles and other strange garbage, and it's still pretty fresh, but it's pretty much the only social media avenue that I've been relatively active on lately. So check it out, or heck, follow me even if you feel so inclined.

Had an amazing time doing sketches for Free Comic Book Day this weekend, thanks to everyone who came out! It's an honor to be included in such a supportive community of artists, and to be a involved in such an awesome event. Can't wait till next year!

Wow wow wow it's been a little while! I've been keeping busy? Trying to? Here are some watercolor illustrations I just completed for a DC comic themed art show at Carol and John's Comic Book Shop, featuring Batgirl and Harley Quinn. The original artwork as well as a limited number of prints will be available for purchase May 1-2 for their Free Comic Book Day event, which I will post more about soon!
